I didn't use this in a real use but I did try it on a drawer corner and it worked quite well. if the head, the arrow appears off please note that it can move left or right so you can set it so it's perfectly centered. the coil is tight, you get a decent amount of pressure although obviously not as well as a clamp that you manually tighten. I purchased these for the bird houses I am making and I think it'll come in quite handy. I don't think that these would be appropriate for a heavy duty project.
